Scope and Content

This collection contains a notebook of information and several blueprints including ones for an addition to Christ Church, Glendale, Ohio that Woodie Garber designed. The blueprints range in date from 1957 to 1960, and a few remain undated. The blueprints cover every aspect of the church, from the tunnels to the chapel windows to the exterior grounds.

Biography of Woodie Garber

Woodie Garber (1913-1994) was a Cincinnati architect who worked in the International Style,. Garber's father, Frederick W. Garber was also an architect and principal in the firm Garber and Woodward with Clifford B. Woodward. Garber was a frequent lecturer a UC's College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning and designed Sander's Hall and Procter Hall on UC's campus.
