History of Distillery, Rectifying and Wine Workers International Union

In 1938, the AFL combined several previously organized federal labor unions to create a national council of distillery, rectifying and wine workers. On December 20, 1940, the council was chartered as an international union, the Distillery, Rectifying and Wine Workers International Union.
