Biography of Biography of Dorothy Stolzenbach Payne

Dorothy Stolzenbach Payne was a prominent piano player from Cincinnati. Graduating from the College of Music of Cincinnati in 1926, Dorothy went on to perform in recitals and become a well-respected teacher in her field. In 1935, she founded the Keyboard Club of Cincinnati, and maintained an active role in the group until her death. Payne was also a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra alongside her husband, Karl Payne (violinist).
