History of Cincinnati Book Arts Society
Cincinnati Book Arts Society (CBAS) is a nonprofit organization comprised of professionals and amateurs from the book, paper and printing arts including bookbinders, paper makers, printers, paper marblers, and book artists, and archivists and conservators. The purpose of the society is to create a spirit of community among people in the book arts and those who love books. CBAS offers educational opportunities for private individuals and institutions through exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and publications. In addition to classes and workshops, CBAS also sponsors programs, lectures and meetings open to the public.
