Biography of Jayne Merkel
Jayne Merkel is an architectural historian and critic. She was an architecture critic for the Cincinnati Enquirer from 1977 until 1988 and has written books on architecture in Cincinnati and New York, and architects Eero Saarinen and Michael Graves. She was the editor of Oculus magazine from 1994 until 2002, and she was awarded AIA institute Honors for Collaborate Achievement in 2003. She currently serves a member of the editorial board for the journal Architectural Design.
