Biography of Melville Bernstein
Melville Bernstein, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, was an accomplished artist, illustrator and sculptor, whose career gave him the opportunity to work in many different fields. He worked as a magazine art director, newspaper editorial artist, stage designer, and teacher. While a student at UC, he served as the editor of the Cincinnatian yearbook, and was responsible for an award-winning cover design for the 1932 Cincinnatian yearbook.
