The Ohio Academy of Science was founded in 1891 to promote science and science education in Ohio. For years, the Academy has conducted numerous pre-college student-programs to encourage science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education and to provide a venue where student-scientists can interact with other students and scientists from across the state. In addition, the Academy hosts an Annual Meeting and publishes a scientific journal, "The Ohio Journal of Science," that focuses on science being done in Ohio, as well as the science that directly impacts Ohio.
Due to the small size of the collection (2 linear feet), the materials are arranged alphabetically according to subject, and then, if needed, chronologically.
Materials were processed by Gino Pasi, April, 2021.
